HYCOOL FREEZING POINTS:
• HYCOOL 20: -20°C
• HYCOOL 30: -30°C
• HYCOOL 45: -45°C
• HYCOOL 50: -50°C

HYCOOL is supplied pre-mixed and delivered direct to client's nominated site in 1000ltr IBCs.

For very large quantities Hycool can be supplied in bulk tankers.

Material Compatability

HYCOOL is compatible with all metals and polymers generally available for indirect cooling systems; see the tables below.

Metals compatible with HYCOOL:
• Copper
• Brass
• Steel
• Stainless steel
• Cast-iron
• Aluminium
• Magnesium
• Copper solder
• Silver solder

Metal not compatible with HYCOOL:
• Galvanized steel
• Zinc
• Tin Solder (soft solder)

PLEASE NOTE!
It is important to clean up HYCOOL with a wet rag immediately if spilled onto metal surfaces, or flush the area with water. HYCOOL damages galvanized steel surfaces and discolours metal. A bluish coating may appear if HYCOOL is spilled on copper.

Polymers compatible with HYCOOL:
• LDPE - Polyethylene, low density
• HDPE - Polyethylene, high density
• PP - Polypropylene
• PTFE - Polytetrafluoroethene
• PA - Polyamide (Compatible below 40 °C)
• PVC - Polyvinyl chloride
• PPO - Polyphenylene oxide
• PMMA - Polymethyl methacrylate
• PES - Polyether sulphone
• Aramid - Aromatic polyamide
• ABS - Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
